Serin returns ... and then leaves the country?

Casey Serin's blog has now
returned, but something is missing with it. He discusses his reasons for shutdown briefly and the reason for his return. He's asked his "Publisher" to
post and comment on it. Overall, I found that a lot was written, but little was said.
Serin has gone from being the blogger who was (or at least gave the
appearance) of being open with his readers, but since shutting down and returning, he hasn't discussed the details of why he closed. His Publisher implies that the reason for his return was due to an agreement they had and that he had knowledge of assets that Casey was holding.
Without going into all the errors in the Publisher's post or into what I feel was a very crude writing style, the blog has changed, and unfortunately it is for the worse. Up until his last post before the now temporary shutdown, he made commentary about some of his readers. Now he is not really doing that and is moderating the comments posted. Furthermore, the post from the Publisher seemed more like a late night commercial for a series of books more than an informative post about Serin's thoughts, views or plans.
If this is the future of Serin's blog, then he can expect his readership to fall. There was something about an individual just expressing his thoughts and ideas about his situation that made it attractive. Now it appears to be some marketing machine, and I'm sure everybody has seen enough of that on the Internet.
So if "video killed the radio star", then maybe commercialization is killing the Internet.
Update: While I was working on this post, Serin confirmed on his blog that
he is in Australia. This trip will give his "loyal fans" (aka Haterz) more to comment about. I wonder if they have Jamba Juice in Australia. There's an interesting post that says what most Haterz would want to say
here. Serin makes an interesting statement in his post: He denies fleeing the country because of criminal matters since he's never been caught with mortgage fraud. He hasn't been caught, but he's basically admitted to lying on mortgage applications. But then again, Australia may not be the best place to run if he were escaping prosecution. We'll see how the story unfolds.
