I've had a busy week with the closing of many newly constructed condominiums in Toronto, so I haven't had a chance to work on my blog as much as I would like. Then again, if I spent the time working on it that I would like, I wouldn't get any of my legal work done.
One article I came across discussed how
Facebook was taking viral marketing to the extreme. Basically, instead of just pushing ads to your interests, they will push ads based on your interests to all of your friends.
I think the CNet blogger put it best:
I already feel paranoid and exposed as a blogger, but the idea that my casual and personal details and conversations can end up as advertising dollars is freaky and unnerving.
Maybe Facebook's reign as the social networking site of choice is about to head the way of Friendster and MySpace. Anybody want to suggest what the new up and coming social networking site will be?
